Are house prices in Spain going to continue rising?

The Minister for Housing, Maria Antonia Trujillo said a few months back, "it looks as if the prices of houses in Spain are at last starting to come down.".
Latest figures released showed a 15% increase in property value in 2005.

What are the costs of buying property in Spain

Basically you pay around 10% costs on top of the purchase price of a property.
Transfer Tax is called the Impuesto de Transferencia de Propiedad and is payable on the purchase of a resale property. Currently 7%.
New Property Tax is what you pay on an off plan property in fact you are paying VAT which is also 7%.
You would then incur roughly another 3% charges to pay for notary fees, stamp duty etc.
